We tailor our approach specifically to your needs and circumstances. Our team of clinicians will review your medical history and the results of diagnostic, neurological, and gynecologic testing and perform an evaluation to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Many women experience pain as a result of pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our clinicians can help reduce pain and improve function both during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. Diagnosis may include pelvic/SI joint pain, pelvic organ prolapse, lower back pain, diastasis recti, and painful scars.
Interventions may include exercise, manual therapy, body mechanics training, bracing, and patient education.
Pain in the pelvic region can limit many activities associated with normal daily function, emotional distress, decreased quality of life, restrict participation in exercise, limit social engagement, and affect intimacy.
A pelvic floor specialist will assess the cause of pain and develop individualized treatment programs based on a patient's symptoms and goals.
Treatment interventions may include manual techniques to decrease discomfort, strengthen/lengthen the pelvic floor muscles, improve overall musculoskeletal flexibility, and address concerns related to issues of intimacy.
People can experience a variety of bowel and bladder complications. Some of these diagnoses can include urinary incontinence (UI), interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS), fecal incontinence, bowel urgency/frequency, and chronic constipation.
These dysfunctions may be significant enough to cause a problem in daily activities.
Our non-invasive treatments include exercise, manual therapy, biofeedback, and lifestyle strategies to help you manage urinary incontinence.
Prolapse occurs when organs descend out of place. This can occur vaginally or rectally and common types involve the bladder, uterus, small intestine, rectum, or vagina.
Treatments include pelvic floor muscle strengthening, education on behavior modifications, posture education, breathing strategies, biofeedback, and manual techniques.

Many people struggle with bowel health for years before seeking treatment because the symptoms can be difficult or embarrassing to talk about. However, bowel issues are quite common.
Throughout every stage of pregnancy, many changes occur to the birthing person's body. These changes are necessary to support the developing baby and prepare the pelvis for labor.
Anyone with a pelvic floor can experience dysfunction in these muscles for a variety of reasons. We will take a deeper dive into pelvic physical therapy treatment for people who have penises.
